Forza Horizon 5 has taken inspiration from the past with its latest Retrowave FH5 update. Fasten your seatbelts for next week and prepare for a neon-rich experience—and no, we’re not just talking about a change of colors. On a side note, you might want to buy FH5 credits to customize those new shiny rides you’ll be getting!
New Rides for the Road
You don’t need to purchase Forza Horizon 5 modded accounts to build your car collection; sometimes you just need to get those points at the Festival Playlist. We’ll be getting five new cars this time around.
- 1980 Lotus Esprit Turbo: You can get this by earning 20 PTS during the third week of the Winter Season in the Festival Playlist.
- 1986 BMW M635CSI: Earned by collecting 20 PTS during Week 2 of the Autumn season on the Festival Playlist.
- 2021 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4: To get your hands on this beauty, you’ll need to get 20 PTS during Week 1 Summer of the Festival Playlist.
- 1986 Citroen BX 4TC: You’ll want to accumulate 20 PTS during Week 4 of the Spring season of the Festival Playlist.
- 2022 Hyundai N Vision 74: The most futuristic of the lot, it’s also one of the harder ones to get. It requires you to earn 80 PTS during the festival playlist.
Take a Ride on the Neon Highway
If you really want to get in the mood for the new Forza Horizon 5 update, head on over to the Neon Highway. While the neon lights along the road are breathtaking as is, we can also feast our eyes on the neon drone show far away in the night. And don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to take it all in, as the nighttime duration has been extended specifically for this purpose!
The standout feature here, however, is probably the fact that the highway decorations will adjust according to your jamming session on the radio. So whether you’re feeling happy or sad, it’s going to be an engrossing experience regardless.
Turn up the Radio!
Here’s hoping you’re a fan of parties. The new Forza Horizon 5 update comes with a new radio station featuring 21 songs revolving around the synthwave genre. And of course, introductions are due, as we’ll be having a new DJ as well, Isabel Moss.
New Cosmetic Items including from Minecraft
Here’s something that you probably weren’t expecting: FH5 has done a collaboration with Minecraft! You can get your hands on the Minecraft Creeper and Minecraft Enderman helmets through the Message Center from 5/23 until 12/31.
That’s not all, though. You’ll also have the chance to win the Retrowave Outfit by completing the Festival Playlist’s first-week photo challenge. This outfit resonates with style, featuring what looks like a black leather jacket paired with pink pants.
Bugs and Errors Fixed
The Retrowave FH5 update has also fixed the following notable errors:
- Previously absent AI cars are now present in street races.
- Players were having difficulty following or unfollowing creators.
- The front fenders of the 2020 Audi TT RS kept disappearing.
- The digital gauge of the 2020 Audi TT RS had some texture issues.
